In this manner the lines of the gods, giants and men, which had gone to blissful rest in the night of the creation, arose from the worlds of the sun-shield and the moon-shield - where their resting-places had been, assumed their original eternal duties and ruled the unfolding worlds through the absolute forces of bliss.
