“And mostly from man they learn to omnipotently govern the cosmic life-breath that is dwelling deep within them; from the sun-alfs they learn to powerfully direct this all-working cosmic life-breath into the fields of their conscience: this is how they realize the state of pure self-awareness; from the moon-alfs they learn to direct the all-creative cosmic life-breath into the spheres of their free will: thus they reach the state of pure consciousness; and from the giants and the alfs together they learn to direct the forces of pure consciousness creatively into the world of the mind: thus they attain supernormal power over nature which is already almighty itself.

“However, all these outer exercises are only the practical test-bench for the teachers and the pupils, to find out if their inner mastery of powers is really sufficiently developed so that the wonder-working fertile grounds of wisdom can open to them.

If, for example, the fire-fanner fails at his own inner harmonious play of forces, the flame he created will dwindle immediately - as if by itself; for it is bound to his inner process of creating fire like the dog to its master.

“The same goes for the other exercises too. When the creator of a universe realizes that his world is imperfect at some place, then he as well as his teachers can tell from this outer deficiency where in detail the inner qualities of the one practising require some further well-pointed development in order to eliminate inside the deficiency that appears outside.

“Through the seemingly wonder-working exercises on the clearings the harmonious, playful, natural and perfect inner mastery of forces is only brought into broad light, and thus becomes openly visible and understood in a very simple outer manner.

This obvious, outer, bodily proof of efficiency of the competent mastery over the innermost individual forces of man proves even to an incredulous, superstitious, uneducated man, completely entangled in ignorance, that the whole world in truth is, or at least can be, governed from within.

The results of these exercises make it plain to the doubtful critic that within everyone almighty divine forces dwell which can be implemented through a well-defined system and in a well-directed manner.

To do so, the divine forces only have to be enlivened because with their assigned tasks they are already inherent within everyone.
