The Rainbow-Castle of the Sun | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Now Mani and Sol entered the seventh castle through a golden gate with the sun and a golden-silvery trident. A brightness received them here that gleamed in gold and silver and glistened and sparkled. Completely
blest Mani floated, as it were, through the sun but at the same time
through the moon too, as if they were a single star which harmoniously
warmed and cooled her simultaneously. This silence bedded them into its overflowing stream of delight and gave them an overpowering surge of complete fulfilment. Thus Mani was deprived again of all her thinking for her thoughts would have given her only an inferior bliss, flooded with less light. Quite naturally her world of thoughts calmed down again - as if her individual thoughts dived into finer and brighter fields of bliss and finally grew into one single infinitely diverse thought without beginning and end. Finally Mani knew only, ”Here, on these golden-silvery, delicate, scintillating eagleis wings of unbounded unity of my thinking I will remain sitting for ever and ever; in this infinite flood of pure bliss which invigorates my feeling and understanding so completely, I want to stay for all eternity like in a snow-white large cushion of unbounded delight, soft on all sides - full of the golden pure light of life - provided with the all-nourishing nectar of the heavenly, golden-white milk of happiness. “Where else would I want to go? There is no somewhere else - separate from me; even if I go I will in reality remain; and when I stand still I will walk at the same time; so I will make no further decision in this matter, every decision includes the opposite anyway - this is the pure truth, everything else is fallacy.” |
