“This is due to the fact that the thoughts that issue forth from the pure light-field of the transcendental consciousness forcibly draw the senses of perception, which so far nourished themselves on the shining nectar of the transcendence, into darker regions of the mind where the senses are frightened and where they do not perceive so willingly as before at the threshold to transcendence.

“Individual limited thoughts have much less light than the unified field of pure consciousness; therefore the darker thoughts are not able to provide the senses with such satisfying light-food as the pure consciousness provides it so perfectly.

For that reason the senses - following their inner natural instinct of hunger - turn away again from the thoughts and turn towards the transcendence where they are satisfied again completely.

“This was the moment when each time you wanted to sink into the experience of perfect bliss.

“However, immediately the dark flashes appeared again, moving like dark clouds in front of the bright full moon of your pure consciousness.

And again your blest senses were turned away from the full udders of the celestial milk-cow of light and were abducted to the udders of skinny goats, poor of light.

“And your senses, dying of thirst, poured out their trouble to you and told you, the observer, how little fulfilling it is to look towards the dark thoughts, weak in light and milk - as opposed to the bright heavenly milk-cow of the transcendence with her abundance of milk.
